Sometimes, there are challenges or obstacles in life that we can't face alone. There are times when everyone can benefit from support to navigate the open, stormy, tumultuous waters that exist in life. You don’t have to struggle on your own.

I work to support clients to gain a better understanding of their experiences and inherent worth.  Together, we address their identified goals and concerns, reflect on and process experiences or situations that may have been traumatic, challenge negative self-beliefs, and foster self-compassion. I strive to recognize intersectional factors that may impact client's experiences, such as culture, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexuality, disability, age, and spirituality. I am passionate about creating safer spaces for people of all communities, bodies, and backgrounds.

My focus is working with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, interpersonal dynamics, grief & loss, career related issues, relationships, self-compassion, perfectionism, and trauma. I am passionate about journeying with and supporting clients as they explore the big questions in life - why do I behave the way I do? Why is this a pattern for me? How do the negative beliefs I have about myself affect my day-to-day life?

I work with each of my clients to formulate a plan for the course of our therapeutic relationship. Through the integration of evidence-based interventions (i.e. DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, etc.,) to foster awareness of one’s thoughts, behaviours, and emotions, I strive to cultivate a safe space for clients to learn and grow.

I understand how difficult life can be, and how challenging it is to reach out for help when we most need it.

"There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
